Air Roasted

With our own Digital Coffee Roasting Nomenclature System"

(DCRNS, pronounced "Discerns", which in plain English means "Choosy"!)
DCRNS helps bring clarity and precision to the otherwise fairly meaningless and very confusing terminology of coffee roasting.

Time and Temperature - Not too fast, not to slow…All our roasts are carefully timed and the numbers represent the maximum temperature to which each coffee is roasted:

460-465 (Mahogany color, commonly called "French" Roast)

450-460 ("Full City" or Medium Dark)

445-450 ("City", Medium toward the lighter side, often called "regular" and also known as "American Roast")

Each coffee has quality characteristics that are best showcased by roasting to certain temperatures.

We at Global to Local we use this knowledge in roasting to regularly come up with new and different coffees for our customers (and ourselves!) to try after we've decided they're ready to share.

Joining the micro-roaster revolution, we custom roast in small batches. This respect for coffee rewards our customers with a variety of taste experiences with flavor characteristics that's worthy of comparison with the finest of vintage wines.

That's "Good" Coffee in every sense of the word, from its contribution to a better world to  its exceptional quality and taste…
